We worked with Steve and Karen to sell a Trolley Square property that we'd owned for many years, but now needed to sell while living out of state.
It was a fantastic experience! Steve and Karen showed deep knowledge of the local market, and helped arrange contractors to repair and prepare the property for sale/ They stayed engaged as the work progressed, which was a huge help for us given the distance involved. The contractors they arranged were top notch, and got the place looking its best as we prepared to go to market.  The property got a lot of interest, and a great price point for us, and sold and easily without any hassle and not a lot of haggle.  Steve and Karen continued to keep things smooth and orderly as we went through the sales process, and quickly chased down a problem when there was a post-sale error by one of the attorneys!  Communication was clear, straightforward, and top notch, and we had found that to be a rarity in the Wilmington area real estate market in the last several years.  Whole hearted recommendation for Team Freebery if you're looking for someone to sell your home! - Chris

Steve and Karen are a package deal, while being equally as amazing on their own. The “team” is no gimmick, that’s who they are. They’re as much your realtors as they are your friends. Steven and Karen (Team Freebery) went above and beyond to help us sell our beloved Wilmington home of 16 years. By the time we put our house on the market, it had suddenly become a more difficult time to sell because interest rates had risen fast and were continuing to rise. Karen and Steve Freebery helped with the sale of our house recently in May 2021. We were relocating from Delaware and wanted expert advice on preparing the house for sale, listing it and finally selling it in a short timeframe. Right from the beginning, Team Freebery made us very comfortable and worked tirelessly to make sure that the sale was stress free. They walked us through the entire process and answered all of our questions, without us feeling any pressure at any time. They provided tips to prep the house, wrote a great description for the listing, advised us on selecting the buyer and followed up with the buyer’s agent and the buyer’s lender proactively, to ensure that the transaction was completed without any hiccups. They even thought about not getting the carpets dirty during multiple showings, and provided footwear coverings. Karen and Steve work in tandem and were available whenever we wanted. Team Freebery gave us excellent advice on how to successfully buy a house in a "Sellers Market" in Delaware. Both Karen and Steve worked with us to find our "Forever Home" in the area where we wanted to live. Daily updates on properties that fit our lengthy criteria were suppled via emails and when we wanted to tour a home, Karen swiftly made appointments to do so. Since we we buying from out of state the process was difficult, and after a few in person tours, Karen helped us by doing an extensive FaceTime tour.
